It is a deliberately narrow business. We do not franchise the crews, we do not outsource the coachwork, and we do not put a caravan on the road that we would not put our own family in.

Every cabin is finished by hand in our own workshop. Nothing generic, nothing hurried, nothing outsourced to a badge on a spec sheet.
Care
A trained crew travels with every journey. Guests are looked after by people we employ and train ourselves, not by a subcontracted roster.

We are proudly Indian and we travel every landscape the country offers — engineering for the roads that actually exist, not the ones brochures imagine.

Six years. One obsession.
A category that barely existed
Motohom is founded the year Indian travel stopped wanting lobbies and queues. Caravan tourism had been named a niche product by the Ministry of Tourism as far back as its 2009–10 report, but almost nobody was building for it here.
The rules arrive — and a workshop with them
Maharashtra issues its Caravan Tourism Policy in March, defining caravan parks, mandatory amenities and registration for the first time. We open our own facility the same year, so design, engineering and interior finishing sit under one roof.
A national framework
The Union Ministry of Tourism publishes a national Caravan Tourism Policy and states begin building park networks — Kerala's Keravan programme among the most serious. Routes that once depended on goodwill start to depend on infrastructure.
Ownership opens up
Invest & Earn launches. Because state incentives attach to commercially registered caravans and not to privately used ones, owning through an operator turns out to be the only structure that makes the economics work.
Pan-India, six years in
A thousand families carried from Ladakh to Kerala, a fleet built entirely in-house, and a concierge desk that answers around the clock from anywhere in the country.
